Shrimp Scampi

If you know me, you'd know I'm a huge pasta buff. I don't like Olive Garden pasta. I think "fast food" pasta from places like Pizza Hut is atrocious. I think CPK pasta is okay at best but there's always something missing...what I'm trying to say is I'm very particular with the dish. Going here I had pretty low expectations but I have to say, the shrimp scampi was quite delicious. The sauce was created beautifully, it wasn't watery like I was expecting it to be. The shrimp was nicely made, not overdone, not undercooked. The pasta was the perfect Al dente. I enjoyed it quite a lot. I'm definitely going to come back and try the other pasta dishes. My family enjoyed their food as well. The steak was perfectly cooked, the spaghetti and meatballs were okay, but that was for the kids and they thoroughly enjoyed it. They're really picky with their food as well. The service was quite nice as well. The server was helpful and attentive. The ambience was quite nice. Overall this was an amazing experience. I would definitely recommend Mangiamo to anyone.
